Entry Fee Details

A trekking entry fee is required to trek in any part of Nepal. Most of the area in Nepal are categorized as per below. If you want to trek two areas, you will need two permits or have to pay entry fee twice. Each permit requires details for the route and region. Police checkpoints are set up in several areas so do not try to take risk, which might lead you to the punishment.

Following are the rates of entry permit according to conservation Area, National Park & Wildlife Reserve.

Annapurna Conservation Area
For SAARC nationals Nepali Rupees 200 per person
For other nationals (other than SAARC countries) Nepali Rupees 2000 per person

Manaslu Conservation Area
For SAARC nationals Nepali Rupees 200 per person
For other nationals (other than SAARC countries) Nepali Rupees 2000 per person

Kanchenjunga Conservation Area
For SAARC nationals Nepali Rupees 100 per person
For other nationals (other than SAARC countries) Nepali Rupees 1000 per person

Langtang National Park
For SAARC nationals Nepali Rupees 1500 per person
For other nationals (other than SAARC countries) Nepali Rupees 3000 per person

Chitwan national Park
For SAARC nationals Nepali Rupees 750 per person
For other nationals (other than SAARC countries) Nepali Rupees 1500 per person

Khapatad National Park
For SAARC nationals Nepali Rupees 1500 per person
For other nationals (other than SAARC countries) Nepali Rupees 3000 per person

Shey Phoksundo National Park

Sagarmatha National Park

• Entrance fee not required for children under 10 years of age.
• This entry permit is valid for one Conservation Area. Trekkers visiting both the Conservation Areas will require obtaining individual Entry Permits for each Conservation Area.
• Two passport size photographs are required while applying for each Entry
• Entry permit can be obtained from Mosaic Adventure Office in Thamel, Kathmandu

• This Entry Permit is valid for single entry only and is non refundable, non-transferable. The permit holder can enter the designated places within the Conservation Area.
• Person entering the Conservation Area shall abide by the National Park and Wildlife Conservation Act 2029 B.S. (1973, Nepal) and the Regulations made under this Act.
• This Entry Permit must be carried during the entire trip and should be shown if concerned personnel of the Conservation Area want to check it.
• Entry permits to these area will be issued only from the entry permit counters. Entry Permits will not issued from any check posts along the routes of those areas. Therefore, all visitors are requested to obtain entry permit before entering those areas.
