Manaslu Circuit is one of the back-breaking trek routes Mother Nature has to offer. Relatively new trails of the circuit have left most of the visitors awestruck with its serene beauty and pure wilderness. Manaslu has formed a natural barrier between Nepal and the Tibetan plateau. The place has been in the trekking scenario for about two decades. In 1992, after it was opened for the trekkers, the thrill seekers have been flocking in by the thousands making it one of the most visited trek routes in the world. Manaslu Circuit gives you the exclusive opportunity to go around the world’s eighth tallest mountain Manaslu and explore expansive vistas of the world’s tallest peaks. Braving the strenuous geographical barriers and hiking from village to village, the trekkers will not leave without experiencing the wonderment the place has to offer. Hidden in between these natural wonders are fascinating creatures, geologic marvels, the ruins of an ancient civilization, and some of the best outdoor adventures in the world. It is home to some of the strangest and most spectacular scenery, balmy temperatures perfect for hiking and spectacular wildflower blooms that transform this landscape into an explosion of color.
The party begins at Arughat Bazaar. The final resting point of the adventure is Besi Sahar. This means that, two of the world’s most famous trekking routes Manaslu Circuit Trek and Annapurna Circuit Trek are juxtaposed to perfection. All in all, this is the amalgamation of the culturally diverse and geographically second-to -none experience. It combines a heritage of natural beauty and a distinctive regional culture. The trip takes you around the biggest massif consisting of many peaks higher than 8000m. Mansaslu Trek is a complete package for the thrill seekers as it is truly a long distance and challenging trek with memorable scenery as you make your way to the high altitude. Manaslu Trek is the perfect getaway for those who really want to put behind the excess of hustles of the lives for a few days.

The trail gets interesting from here on as it cuts through the forests providing you an exclusive opportunity to sneak peek the flora and fauna of the forest. You will be spending your night at the river banks of Machha Khola with the best local foods which give you the pleasure that any five star foods give.
Day 6 Trek Machha Khola to Jagat (1350m/6hrs)
Trek only gets intense from here on as the altitude rises. However, the trail offers you some recess in between like hot springs and lush green forests with endangered species running across the forests. Not to mention, the vegetation changes with every few hundred meters of rising altitude. Your day will be done at Jagat and you will be staying the night here.

Day 10 Trek Namrung to Lhogaon (3100m/4hrs)
Now that we have gained some altitude and we are already into alpine climate, we get to enjoy phenomenally large number of mountain views. Not to forget, pasturelands, glaciers and up streams. You will take the best and the easiest trail all the way up to the gompa. On your way to your destination, you walk the trail that cuts through Lho village, predominantly a Buddhist settlement, with chortens and manis. You can look over your shoulders to find Ganesh I watching your back. You will finish off your day at Honsansho Gompa which gives you a spectacular view of Peak 29 and Manaslu.
Day 11 Trek Lhogaon to Samagaon (3390/4hrs)
Basically, you will start your day on an exciting note because it is going to be a short day at work. It is just a four hour hike followed by a full day of acclimatization.
Day 12 Acclimatization Day
With every hundred meters you climb the air will get thinner and you need to adapt just so. We allow you to spend some time in Samagaon where you can get used to the altitude.
Day 13 Trek Samagaon to Samdo (3690m/4hrs)
It is now time to roll up the sleeves because a day of acclimatization has given you enough of the rest and your system has somewhat gotten used to the environment around. You will be camping out on the higher altitudes from this point forward.
Day 14 Trek Samdo to Larka La Phedi (4460m/3hrs)
Hike along the ever shrinking Budi Gandaki River. You can see towering mountains around you. Across the river is a huge settlement Sumdu. Can we take showers during the trek?
It depends on nature of sickness. Normally if you get sick you will descend to lower altitude with help of support staff. But if the case is critical we will arrange emergency helicopter evacuation service. Our guide will take immediate action according to the situation.
*Altitude sickness can affect everyone while trekking including young and healthy people and is a genuine concern in Khumbu. If you feel dizzy, suffer palpitations or severe headaches, return immediately to a lower altitude. Do not take altitude sickness lightly. It can be fatal!
These are the questions we are often asked and we hope that you will find the answers useful. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any further queries.
