Everest Panaroma trek is comparatively easy to some of other trek from Khumbu Region. For those who have limited time and want a view of Everest anyway, Everest Panaroma trek is idyllic trekking option. Everest panorama trek takes you up high along trails to Tengboche monsastery at the elevation of 3850 meters, which stand atop a hill, with a clear view of Mt. Everest, at the convergence of Imja River and Dudh Koshi. Everest Panoram trek is a short hiking trail offering splendin view of the highest peak of the world; Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and obviously Everest.
Everest panorama trek start from a flight to Kathmandu to Lukla and trek up to Namche Bazaar then Tyangboche and into the Khumjung village, a pleasant settlement of Sherpas. Everest panorama trek gives a great introduction to Sherpa inhabited region, their culture and panoramic view of mountains not to be mention; and all of this without any tough hike to the higher altitude to Base Camp. The last destination of Everest Panorama trek is the village of Tengboche with its famous monastery where we have time to soak up the atmosphere along with some incredible view of the beautiful mountain Ama Dablam; certainly the best mountain views in the world. We then return back to Lukla following the excellent path down to the Dudh koshi and fly back to Kathmandu for further program.
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1345 meters).
Arrival in Tribhuwan International airport (TIA) where you will be met by Mosaic adventure representative and transferred to hotel by private vehicle. Pre-trip arrangement, meeting with Mosaic Adventure team and briefing from your trekking guide. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Trip arrangements, meeting with staff and sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley
You will meet your trekking guide, discuss the trekking program and coordinate any last-minute arrangements. After staff meeting, with Mosaic Adventure's professional tour guide we visit Pashupatinath, Boudhanath Stupa, Swaymbhunath and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Rest of the time you can use for travelling around Thamel and shopping of needed equipment and other necessaries. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03- Fly to Lukla (2804 meters) trek to Phakding (2610 meters) 3 hours.
An early morning start takes us to Tribhuwan international Airport in Kathmandu for the 35 minute scenic flight to Tenzing and Hillary Airport at Lukla at 2804meters. We begin our trek towards Phakding at 2610meters.After landing we have time to explore the village while our Sherpa crew sort and load our trekking equipment. Then we begin our trek by descending towards the Dudh Kosi River where we join the main trail to Namche Bazaar, located just above Chaunrikharka (2713m). The walking is easy and after passing through the small village of Ghat (2550m) it is a short walk to Phakding. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 04- Trek to Namche Bazaar (3441 meters) 6 hours.
We continue trekking along the banks of the Dudh Kosi, crossing this majestic river many times on exciting suspension bridges laden with prayer flags. After entering Sagamartha National Park, the trail climbs steeply with breathtaking views. Namche Bazaar known as the Gateway to Everest which is home to many quality restaurants, hotels, lodges, shops, Money exchange, internet cafe and a bakery. Namche is one of the biggest villages along the whole Everest trail. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 05- Namche Bazaar Acclimatization day
We will spend a day here in order to acclimatize and adjust to the thinning of the air. We will take a short trek to the museum celebrating the traditional customs of the Sherpa people to visit. Today we hike up the Syangboche Airport, around Everest View Hotel. From this point, we see rewarding views of the Himalayas with a stunning sunrise or sunset over the panorama of the Khumbu peaks. Overnight at guesthouse.
Day 06- Trek to Tengboche Monastery (3860 meters) 5 hours.
We trek to an altitude of 3860meters today. On reaching Tengboche i will tell you about the local monastery situated here. The group will be taken to observe a prayer ceremony either in the evening or morning depending on how the days trekking went. Overnight at guesthouse.
Day 07- Trek to Namche Bazar. 5 hours.
Following down same trail, leaving the mountains behind us our descent takes us from Tengboche Monastery (3860 meters) before continuing back to the town of Namche Bazaar. Overnight at guesthouse.
Day 08- Trek to Lukla (2804 meters) 6 hours.
Finally we return to Lukla where the trek began, which seems a lifetime ago. Enjoying time to reflect on the trek as a group and the personal achievement of all those who took part. Overnight at guesthouse.
Day 09- 35 minutes morning flight back to Kathmandu.
We reflect upon the mountains you have recently visited for one last time before 35 minute Scenic flight back to Kathmandu. Transferred back to our starting hotel. Free time on your own. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10- Transfer to international airport for your final flight departure.
Farewell and Mosaic Adventure airport representative will drop you to the Tribhuwan International Airport for your flight departure from Nepal.

How fit do I have to be?
Everest panorama trek considered as moderate trekking is appropriate for any kind of person. Though no previous experience is required for the trek, some physical fitness activities like walking, jogging, swimming, hiking is recommended. Please get medical advice if you have pre-existing medical condition or illness before booking the trip.
What is the level of accommodation like?
In Kathmandu you'll stay in a twin room with private facilities like attach bathroom, air conditioner etc (twin room not applicable if you have booked for only one person).
Tea house accommodation will be available during trekking period. According to the availability we will sleep in dormitories, twin and triple rooms. The bed are available with mattress of various thickness therefore you will be provided a sleeping bag to use throughout the trek.
Is pick up service available if my arrival in Kathmandu is before the actual trip starting date?
Definitely yes, if you let us know your airways name, arrival date and time, one of us will be there to guide you to the hotel you will be staying.
Is enough drinking water available? How many liters of water shall we carry in our day pack?
You will have enough water available throughout the trip. But, we recommend you to buy mineral water available in plastic bottles that can be bought at all teahouses.
You can carry 3-4 liters of water; you can get your bottle refilled at teahouses available throughout the trip.
Where can I keep my luggage?
You can keep the unnecessary items in the hotel in Kathmandu for free of charge.
Do I need to take walking poles?
Walking poles are not essential but would be useful especially on the way down. Poles help you balance on the way down and take the strain off of your legs (quad muscles) on some of the steep climbs.You can buy or hire those in Kathmandu.
Can I buy any equipment in Kathmandu or Pokhara before the start of the trip?
There are plenty of trekking shops in Kathmandu and Pokhara selling equipments for cheaper price comparing to the price in developed countries. You can get it for cheaper but cannot guarantee the quality.
Can I recharge my iPod, batteries while on the mountain?
Yes, you can recharge your iPod, batteries etc with solar system.
Plug types – 2 pin and 3 pin; Voltage- 250V; Frequency- 50Hz. Please remember that plugs might be different so don’t forget to buy adaptors in Kathmandu before the trip. Those are sold in the many stores and stalls on the street in Kathmandu. Recharge service is paid service, you can expect around 2-3$ per hour.
Is it recommended to get Nepalese visa in advance or at the airport?
Obtaining Nepalese visa at arrival is easier expecting some time queuing. If you get your visa in advance, you can avoid the queue.
Don’t forget to bring cash as ATM is not available at the site.
Note: If you are staying for than 15 days, don’t forget to ask visa for 30 day.
Download Visa Application form and fil it with to passport size photographs to avoid the que at the airport.
Can we take showers during the trek?
You can get hot shower service throughout the trip. You will find a common bathroom in most of the places.
How much money per day do you think I will need? What currency should I take?
Local currency in Nepal is rupees. Dollar is recommended as you can get it exchange easily. Though you get less rate on travellers cheque we suggest you to carry mixture of both depending on your need. Depending on your drinking habit around $10 per day for your extra drink and bar bill during the trek and around $20 for lunch/dinner in Kathmandu.
What do I have to carry with me on trek?
You will only have to carry a daypack, which should be a reasonable size to carry a water bottle, sunscreen, camera, etc. Your other packs are carried by porters.
What if I get sick while on trek?
It depends on nature of sickness. Normally if you get sick you will descend to lower altitude with help of support staff. But if the case is critical we will arrange emergency helicopter evacuation service. Our guide will take immediate action according to the situation.
