Starting from Nayapul crossing the Modi Khola and walking to Hile, leading towards Tikhedhunga, this trek make a loop around Ghorepani and Ghandruk. Passing through the Rhododendron forest towards Nange-Thanti, a name given after its open field, this trail leads to the top point of Ghorepani. Hiking up to Poonhill early in the morning brings you to the place where you can have awesome view of Annapurna Mountain Range, Dhaulagiri Mountain Range, Nilgiri Mountain and much more. As you ascend from Tikhedhunga to Ulleri, only the second day of your trek, the view of South Annapurna emerges.
At Ghandruk, the mountains get much nearer; Annapurna South with Hiunchuli dominates the view here. Ghandruk is a large but beautiful village; the path ahead to Ghorepani via Tadapani is through dense temperate forests; it is a lovely walk with superb views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre from Bhaisi Kharka and Tadapani. A crest beyond Deurali, after Ghorepan, affords a stunning panorama of the Annapurnas and Dhaulagiri that equals the magnificient vista from Poon Hill. From the poon hill, 450 meter further up from Ghorepani, the vista extends from Dhaulagiri, tukuche and Nilgiri South to Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Hinuchuli and Machhapuchhre, Annapurna south really dominates the panorama.
Day 01- Arrive at Kathmandu airport (1345meters). Overnight at hotel.
Upon arrival in Kathmandu (Tribhuwan International Airport), you will be received by Mosaic Adventure representative and transferred to the hotel. After check in, there will be short briefing about your program and other pre-trip arrangements.
Day 02- Drive to Pokhara (900 meters) 6 hours by tourist bus. Overnight at hotel.
Your journey starts at 7:00 from Katipath Tourist Bus station then we drive through the Kathmandu city up to Thangkot and all the way over the valley rim and down along the Trishuli river to Malekhu (75 km/ Approx 3hrs) where we stop for our Lunch and then Pokhara. After ariving in Pokhara, transfer to the Hotel and have a free evening to explore Pokhara's delightful lake side town, jam packed with restaurants, bakeries, Tibetan and Nepali Craft shops and some fantastic night spots.
Day 03- Drive to Nayapul (1010meters)and trek to Tikhedunga (1570meters) 3 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse.
After our breakfast, we take an early morning 1 hours drive to Nayapul. Our first day of trekking is a bit easier hike through the bank of Modi Khola river, and the beautiful sight of lowland rice fields.
Day 04 -Trek to Ghorepani (2840meters) 5 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Leaving Tikhedunga, we begin our journey with steep climb to Ulleri ascending a steep stone staircase (which has about 3300 steps), a difficult part for most of the trekkers. During our 6 hrs hike we will experience the majestic views, rhododendron forest, beautiful villages, flora and funna and many more.
Day 05- Early morning hike up to Poon Hill (3210meters) and trek to Tadapani (2660meters). Overnight at Guesthouse.
Early morning climb up to Poon Hill to see panoramic view with beautiful sun rise and after breakfast trek to Tadapani through dense forest; we get chance to see monkeys, birds and other animals.
Day 06- Trek to Ghandruk (1940meters.) 4 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse.
After having breakfast we descend down through a forest, a short steep descend among rocks lead to a stream crossing, then the gentle descend down passomg over streams, leading out on the ridge to Ghandruk.
Day 07- Trek to Nayapul (1010 meters) and drive to Pokhara. Overnight at hotel.
Approx two hours hike from Ghandrung all the way down hill through village and terraced fields to Syauli Bazaar. Along the way we can see good view of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhare. Then, the trails follow the Modi River till Nayapul after Birethanti and drive to Pokhara.
Day 08- Drive back to Kathmandu (1345meters) by tourist bus. Overnight at hotel.
We drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus with a good sceneries along the way. This is our free day in Kathmandu for shopping and other individual activities.
Day 09- Transfer to international airport for your final departure.
Farewell then transfer to airport for final departure for onward destination.

How fit do I have to be?
If you are reasonably fit Ghorepani Ghandruk trek is appropriate trip for you. If you are physically fit and do not suffer from pre-existing medical condition, no prior experience is required to enjoy this trek.
What is the level of accommodation like?
In Kathmandu and Pokhara you'll stay in a twin room with private facilities like attach bathroom, air conditioner etc (twin room not applicable if you have booked for only one person).
Tea house accommodation will be available during trekking period. According to the availability we will sleep in dormitories, twin and triple rooms. The bed are available with mattress of various thickness therefore you will be provided a sleeping bag to use throughout the trek.
Is pick up service available if my arrival in Kathmandu is before the actual trip starting date?
Definitely yes, if you let us know your airways name, arrival date and time, one of us will be there to guide you to the hotel you will be staying.
Is enough drinking water available? How many liters of water shall we carry in our day pack?
You will have enough water available throughout the trip. But, we recommend you to buy mineral water available in plastic bottles that can be bought at all teahouses.
You can carry 3-4 liters of water; you can get your bottle refilled at teahouses available throughout the trip.
Where can I keep my luggage?
You can keep the unnecessary items in the hotel in Kathmandu/Pokhara for free of charge.
Do I need to take walking poles?
Walking poles are not essential but would be useful especially on the way down. You can buy or hire those in Kathmandu.
Can I buy any equipment in Kathmandu before the start of the trip?
There are plenty of trekking shops in Kathmandu and Pokhara selling equipments for cheaper price comparing to the price in developed countries. You can get it for cheaper but cannot guarantee the quality.
Can I recharge my iPod, batteries while on the mountain?
Yes, you can recharge your iPod, batteries etc with solar system. But, please remember that plugs might be different so don’t forget to buy adaptors in Kathmandu before the trip. Those are sold in the many stores and stalls on the street in Kathmandu. Recharge service is paid service, you can expect around 2-3$ per hour.
Is it recommended to get Nepalese visa in advance or at the airport?
Obtaining Nepalese visa at arrival is easier expecting some time queuing. If you get your visa in advance, you can avoid the queue.
Don’t forget to bring cash as ATM is not available at the site.
Note: If you are staying for more than 15 days, don’t forget to ask visa for 30 day.
Can we take showers during the trek?
You can get hot shower service throughout the trip.
How much money per day do you think I will need? What currency should I take?
Local currency in Nepal is rupees. Dollar is recommended as you can get it exchange easily. Though you get less rate on travellers cheque we suggest you to carry mixture of both depending on your need. Depending on your drinking habit around $10 per day for your extra drink and bar bill during the trek and around $20 for lunch/dinner in Kathmandu.
What do I have to carry with me on trek?
You will only have to carry a daypack, which should be a reasonable size to carry a water bottle, sunscreen, camera, etc. Your other packs are carried by porters.
What if I get sick while on trek?
It depends on nature of sickness. Normally if you get sick you will descend to lower altitude with help of support staff. But if the case is critical we will arrange emergency helicopter evacuation service. Our guide will take immediate action according to the situation.
