Helambu Trek
Helambu the popular Sherpa village due 72 kilometer north west of Kathmandu valley presents an easy getaway to ‘the valley of glaciers’. Helambu trek area because of its low elevation, the Sherpa villages and the spectacular mountain-escape make it an interesting loop. Helambu trek is comparatively easier one due to the fact that the elevations are lower, ranging between 800m. to 3600m, offering less hiking as well as warmer temperature; additional benefit of Helambu trek is that the area is less crowded & free from noise in comparison to the Annapurna trek and some parts of the Everest treks but still offers a wide range of cultures and spectacular scenery.
