The anticlockwise route follows the masryangdi river upstream, gaining altitude gradually as you trek north through lamjung district populated mainly by gurung, after ghermu. The trail crosses the left bank and ascends through narrow gorge that extends up to bagarchap in lower manang district, the marsyangdi bends towards west so does the trail, gradually entering a drier, rugged terrain ,after crossing chame, headquarter of manang district, the land scope gets even more arid as you enter upper manang also called nyeshang. At humde there is an airfield with flights to pokhara. At manang village which you eventually reach after short walk from humde, where a day rest to acclimatize the body before the onward trek to the Thorang - La pass (5416m)the highest point of the trail. From thorang Phedi (4430m)a bleak, chilly polecat the base of the pass, it is a rather steep climb to Thorang - La and very long descent to Muktinath (3800m)this is the most strenuous part of the entire trek and snow is not unusual here. From this part hills turn green again the descent is mostly gradual as you follow the Kaligandaki, passing village like Tukuche, ghasa and dana the trail works its way through narrow George and pass great waterfall.
Day 01 - Arrive at Kathmandu airport (1345meters). Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 - Drive to Besisahar (830meters) by bus. 7 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse.
Day 03 - Trek Besisahar to Bahundanda (1310 meters) 5 hours. Over night at Guest house.
Day 04 - Trek to Chamje (1400meters). 5 hours. Over night at Guest house.
Day 05 - Trek to Dharapani (1900meters). 5 hours. Over night at Guest house.
Day 06 - Trek to Chame (2630meters). 5 hours. Over night at Guest house.
Day 07 - Trek to Pisang (3300 meters) 5 hours. Over night at Guest house.
Day 08 - Trek to Manang (3540 meters). 5 hours. Over night at Guest house.
Day 09 - Acclimatization day at Manang village, monasteries, Gangapurna Glacier lake. Over night at Guest house.
Day 10 - Trek to Yak Kharka (4000 meters) 5 hours. Over night at Guest house.
Day 11 - Trek to Thorong High Camp (4850 meters) 5 hours. Over night at Guest house.
Day 12 - Trek to Muktinath (3800 meters) via Thorung La pass (5416 meters) 8 hours. Over night at Guest house.
Day 13 - Trek to Kagbeni (2530 meters). 3 hours. Over night at Guest house.
Day 14 - Trek to Marpha (2670 meters) via Jomsom (2710 meters). 5 hours. Over night at Guest house.
Day 15 - Trek to Ghasa (2010 meters) 6 hours. Over night at Guest house.
Day 16 - Trek to Tatopani (1190 meters). 5 hours. Over night at Guest house.
Day 17 - Rest and relaxing day at Tatopani. Over night at Guest house.
Day 18 - Trek to Ghorepani (2810 meters) 6 hours. Over night at Guest house.
Day 19 - Early in the morning hiking up to Poon Hill (3210meters) and trek to Tadapani (2700meters) 5 hours. Over night at Guest house.
Day 20 - Trek to Ghandruk (1940 meters) 4 hours. Over night at Guest house.
Day 21 - Trek down to Nayapul (1010 meters) and an hour drive to Pokhara. Over night at hotel.
Day 22 - Drive back to Kathmandu (1345meters). Over night at hotel.
Day 23 - Transfer to international airport for your final departure.
