The scepter of Indra is believed to have fallen at a place where now stands the Observatory Hill.
The town of Darjeeling has an area of 11.44 sq. km and is situated at an altitude of 2134 m. The languages spoken out there are mainly Nepali, Bengali, Hindi and Tibetan. This place is an embodiment of all visions that lead to serenity. Day 1
Pickup from Bagdogra/Nepal Border. Check in Hotel in Darjeeling.
Day 2
Early morning sunrise in Tiger Hill. Sightseeing around Darjeeling. Overnight in Hotel in Dajreeling.
Day 3
Drive to Kalimpong. Check in Hotel. Half day exploring Kalimpong.
Day 4
Drive to Rangpho. White Water Rafting in River Teesta. Overnight at Chitray wayside Inn/Camp/or drive to Kalimpong.
Day 5
Drop at Bagdogra/Nepal Border.
